Can I claim on Medicare or Private Health Insurance?
Our allied health services are covered by most private health funds and rebates may be available. Please check with your health fund provider to determine if a rebate is available under your policy.
Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (CDM) are accepted for Exercise Physiology services. Eligible clients must have a care plan developed by their GP and present referral documentation and Medicare card at the time of your appointment.
Workcover, NDIS and DVA may be applicable.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No, referrals are not required to make an appointment at the clinics. Anyone is welcome, healthy or otherwise.
How long does an appointment take?
The length of the appointment depends on the services provided, however as a guide an initial assessment consultation will usually be 60 minutes, with subsequent consultations ranging from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
What should I wear?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for exercise.
